This article is addressing the three most common error messages below as well as some recommendations:
- Invalid code
- Code already used
- Code not found
If those do not help you resolve your issue, please see the section at the bottom “Contact Cambridge GO Support” to provide us with the information we need to support you!
You may receive an error message when trying to activate your access code. You can use our Code Check tool to check whether your code is valid and if it is activated or not.
We also recommend trying the following:
- Make sure you are accessing the correct website/platform that's indicated on your book, below the activation code:
- Make sure you're entering the correct characters. The letter 'Q' might be confused with the letter 'O' or the number '0'; the number '5' can be confused with the letter 'S'; the letter ‘J’ might be confused with the letter ‘l’ or number ‘1’; etc.
- If you scratched the seal yourself to reveal the code in your book, and after trying to activate it you receive the error message ‘Code already used’, please try logging out from your account and logging back in.
- If your code starts with the word 'SITE' like the example below:
It means it gives access to a site license product, which can only be activated by admins on a school profile. If you are an admin of a Go school, please consult How to use a site licence activation code or Where can I activate a site licence?
If your code is correct and you are still having problems activating the code, please submit your request form here with the details below for our support team to assist you further with this.
