Step 1: Answering Excercise Questions
This step presents the view of the student.
Exercise questions from Learner books and coursebooks are available in Cambridge Online Mathematics. These questions can be answered and self-marked by students online.
- Navigate to the exercise tab for the topic.
- Each question can be viewed using the navigation at the top or all the questions can be viewed on the same page using the Show all questions toggle.
- Each question part includes a workspace to show working and enter an answer.
- Learners can type their calculation with support from the maths keyboard that helps with mathematical symbols
- Learners can draw their answer using the mouse as a pen to show their working.
- Learners can upload a photo of their working on paper as evidence for their answer.
- After each question part, learners self-assess by checking the answer and reporting their confidence with the question.
- If a student has found a particular question part challenging, they can add a flag the question. This will highlight the question part in reports and teachers can use this to help identify questions that a class has found challenging.
- Once learners have completed the questions, they submit their answers and self-assessment.
- Learners can see their previous submissions by selecting results. They can review open each submission to see their answers and feedback from the teacher.
